Eligibility

Who can try out?

All Southwest registered students in accordance with MSHSL regulations

Incoming Freshman and 7th and 8th graders who will attend Southwest High School.

Minimum GPA requirement of 2.0

Registration opens August 1st, 2024.  To register for tryouts, potential players must pre-register online at https://mplscity-ar.rschooltoday.com/

NOTE: There are two links on the MPS registration site, one to make online payments and one to register. You need to do both.

ALL potential players need a physical on file from 2022 to current.

Important: 7th and 8th graders cannot use the online portal to pay, so please be prepared to bring a check to the Athletic Director’s office which is in the Commons at SW High School.

Separate payments need to be made for each player.
